Two teachers and eight students from Shawnigan Lake School in British
Columbia, Canada arrived at Azabu on April 12th. They were warmly welcomed by
Headmaster, Mr. Negishi, the host families, the teachers and students who had
just come back to Japan from their five-day stay at Shawnigan Lake School, and
other teachers and students.
They stayed with us from April 12th to 19th, while they attended a lecture on the history of Japanese religion and art, a calligraphy lesson, and other classes. They thoroughly enjoyed day trips to Nikko and Kamakura, and went sightseeing in Tokyo.
This is the first time that the two schools have exchanged students, but we are sure the exchange will continue for many years to come.
