Our 8 Azabu High School students and three teachers visited Shawnigan Lake
School on Vancouver Island in Canada and stayed for 5 days early this April.
Shawnigan Lake School is a co-educated private school and has a large campus
with a rich environment. Our students stayed with the Shawnigan students in the
school residences. They enjoyed joining the classes and sports and fine art
sessions. In order to give them better understanding of Japanese culture and
Azabu High School, they held Japan Night for Shawnigan students. Through
this visit, the 8 students became much more confident in using English and we
all had a valuable experience. We are very honored to know friendly and warm
people at Shawnigan.
